Race report by Kuba Ĺ imurda
Fourth encounter of the fame series Mibosport cup took place in the middle of February. As a penultimate race it was really important for each driver to get some points and mix the final standings.

Maybe also because of that two hundred racers found way to Hrotovice. They were divided into 2 off-road & 4 on-road classes. Mainly the first named – off road classes become really popular. I think one year ago no one was expecting that rise. Each (2WD and 4WD) class had over 50 cars. Modified was also pretty strong with 38 cars. On the other hand, Stock came a bit lower holding 30 names on the grid. And then both Formula and 1/12 took one group of drivers.

As usual, Friday practise was allowed. This is a huge bonus for drivers as they could test almost as much as they wanted. Even on the same carpet as ETS series use – so the reached setup could be really useful. Unfortunately there was someone on the race who have not appreciated Friday practise and even the whole organizer´s effort. That human (or those humans) have stolen expensive stuff from organizer´s shop. It happened during night when no one was in the hall. I found that very unfair.

But now let´s move to the final standings.

Buggy 2WD: From over 50 drivers competing in 2WD class Peter Pinisch became the best. Second place came to Czech man Radek Flek a Marcel Rekkettye finished as third. Fourth position got Kaja Novotny, who is still a bit missing his pace in 2WD.

4WD Buggy: Again I will speak about Kaja Novotny, but in different light this time. The 4WD car fits him visibly better. He just gave chance to no one from the very beginning to end. Peter Pinisch finished second and Roland Hauleitner third. Marcel Rekkettye took the unpopular fourth position.

1/12: Daniel Sieber. This German racer didn´t let someone to hesitate about his pace. He have lead during the whole race and the victory was only thing he deserved. Fight for the second was more interesting. I had a bad luck as I haven’t finished the first final. But then I pushed hard and got the second position back. Third spot came to Manfred Rasch.

Stock: If you´re still trying to find a paragon about how fast are the youngest, here it is. Let´s just follow the Stock results ever. A finals of this class were absolutely tasteful. TQ man Oliver Havránek was leading each heat. But Jürgen Hörn as runner up from qualy was everything but not so far. At the end Oliver even didn´t make any mistake, but let some space to Jürgen who exploited it fully. Another talented young junior Bartek Zambryczki from Poland finished third. Fourth spot came to Aleš Pelikán and Christian Schiff was fifth.

Modified: With a few advices and tips I came very excited to Hrotovice. As a main change I switched from standard chassis to ALU. That made car even faster than before as I could afford more aggressive setup. Thanks to this fact I reached TQ in qualy and also victory in finals. There was a close fight for the second place. At the end, Dominic Vogl was the luckiest. Third place came to Mario Sowka and Jiri Vysin finished as fourth. David Nemcek completed the TOP5.
